BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Clean the heating surfaces with a soft damp cloth then dry them.
3. Uncoil the mains cable completely.
4. When first use, the device may give off a slight odor. This is normal and will not last for long.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Put the appliance on a level and heat-resistant surface.
2. Plug the appliance to an appropriate socket. The power light illuminates to indicate power is connected.
The heating light illuminates to indicate the appliance started preheating.
3. When the appliance has heated up, the heating light turns off.
4. Open the appliance at the handle by releasing the lock.
5. Add some butter onto the grill plates if you like.
6. Pour the prepared dough onto the bottom heating plate and distribute it evenly. You can use a decoration
bag such as fabric piping bag to pour the dough, but pay attention not to use disposable plastic piping
bags as they may melt if they come into contact with the hot plates.
7. Gently close the upper heating plate. Make sure the handle has been locked up.
8. Bake the churros for approximate 3-5 minutes. Check the status of the churros. You can close up the plates
to continue baking until the desired level of browning required.
9. Remove the churros with a plastic spatula when the churros are ready. Do not use any metal objects (e.g.
knife, fork etc.) as they will scratch the coating of the heating surface.
10. If you wish to bake more churros, pour in more dough immediately.
11. When you have finished baking, remove the mains plug from the power outlet.
Note!
Do not open the appliance less than one and a half minutes after you put into the dough. Opening the lid
too soon will cause the under-baked churros to split.
The appliance has feet at both sides of housing, so it can be placed at either side. You can turn over the
appliance to make the dough spread more evenly.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. First of all remove the mains plug!
2. Do not commence cleaning until the device has cooled down completely.
3. Clean the outside surface and the heating surfaces with a brush or with a soft, damp cloth. Do not run the
water directly onto the baking surfaces.
4. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing brush, knife) for cleaning.
5. Caution: Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. There is a danger to life from electric shock!
