ID number input failure
After the last ID number is input, the ignition
switch ring and the Honda SMART Key
indicator flash 3 times, the buzzer rings once,
and then goes off.
The ignition switch does not unlock.
Redo the “Unlock the Ignition Switch in an
Emergency” procedure. 2 P. 103
ID number input cancel
If you make a mistake while inputting your ID,
do one of the following:
• Press and hold the ignition switch until the
buzzer rings once, the ignition switch ring
and the Honda SMART Key indicator turn
off.
• Do not press the ignition switch, just wait
for the ignition switch ring and the Honda
SMART Key indicator to turn off.
