REPLACING BATTERY
_WARN_NG: Do not short battery
temsinais by ai/owing a wrench or any
other object to contact both term na/s at
the same tme. Before connect ng ba£tery,
remove meta brace ets, wristwatch bands,
dngs, etc_
Pos tive termir,,a must be connected
f_st to prevent sparking from accidental
1 Lift hood to raised position
2 Disconnect BLACK battery cabie (A)
then RED battery cabb and carefl_y
_emove battery from tractor,
3. hstaH new battery with termina}s in
same position as oid baSery_
4 First connect RED battery cable (B) to
positive (+) battery terminal wth hex
bolt and keps nut as shown Tightens
securely_ SHde termina_ cover (C) over
terminal
5. Connect BLACK ground ng cable to
negative (o) battery term ha/with re_
maining hex bolt and keps nut, Tighten
6. C_ose hood_
TO REPLACE FUSE
Replace with 30 amp automot ve_type
p/ugoin fuse. iThe fuse hoider s ocated
behnd the dash
TO REMOVE HOOD AND GRILL ASo
1_ Raise hood
2 Unsnap head_ght wire connector_
3_ Stand n fivsnt of tractor Grasp hood at
sides, tiit toward er gine and Iifl off of
tractor
4 When replacing hood, be sure to re
connect the headlight wire connector.

_O REPLACE IGHT BULB
1 Rabe hoed,
2 Remove bulb holder from the hole in
the backside of the griii.
3. Replace buib in holder and instai! buib
holder securely back into the hoie in
the backside of the gdI.
4 Close hood
