Using Super freeze

The Super freeze function can also
be switched on.
Super freeze function
For optimum results switch on the Su-
per freeze function before putting fresh
food into the freezer section. This helps
food to freeze quickly and retain its nu-
trients, vitamins, flavours and appear-
ance.
Exceptions:
- When placing food in the freezer that
is already frozen
- When freezing up to 2kg of fresh
food daily
The SuperFreeze function should be
switched on 6hours before placing
food in the freezer section.
When freezing the maximum amount
of food the SuperFreeze function
should be switched on 24hours be-
forehand.
When SuperFreeze is switched on, the
appliance will work at full power to
lower the temperature in the freezer.
The SuperFreeze function will switch it-
self off automatically after approx.
65hours. The quantity of fresh food
placed in the freezer will determine the
time before the SuperFreeze function
turns off.
Tip: To save energy, you can manually
switch off SuperFreeze once the freezer
reaches a constant temperature of
-18°C or colder. Monitor the temperat-
ure in the freezer section.
When SuperFreeze is switched off, the
appliance will run at normal power
again.
Switching on Super freeze
Press the Super freeze button.
The Super freeze symbol lights up.
The appliance will work at full power to
lower the temperature in the appliance.
Switching off Super freeze
Press the Super freeze button.
The Super freeze symbol will go out.
The appliance will continue running at
normal power.
