CAUTION: Do not use blade to cut stems
greater than 3/4" (19mm). Use the trimmer only
for cutting normal shrubbery around houses and
buildings. NOTE: Power saw can cut stems and
branches up to 1.5" (38.1mm).
To turn the tool “ON”, slide the lock off button

Figure A, backward and, squeeze the trigger switch

. Once
the unit is running, you may release the lock off button.
In order to keep the unit running you must continue
to squeeze the trigger. To turn the tool “OFF”, release
thetrigger.
OPERATION
WARNING: To reduce the risk of

disconnect it from power source before making
any adjustments or removing/installing
attachments or accessories. An accidental start-up
can causeinjury.
Attaching Extension Cord to Trimmer
(Fig. D)
A cord retainer is incorporated into the rear of the handle on
the hedge trimmer.
1. Near the end of the cable, fold the cable to create
aloop.
2. Feed the loop into the cord retainer housing

3. Hook the loop onto the cord retainer

so it rests in the
cord retainer.
4. Plug the cable into the powerhead.
