TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
The heater
does not turn
on.
1. The power cord is not plugged in.
2. The electricity at the main fuse
box is not working.
1. Plug the power cord into an electrical
outlet.
2. Check the electricity at the main fuse
box.
The flame
effect does not
turn on
1. There is no light for the flame 2. Change the light bulb.
There is no
heat from the
unit
1. The thermostat on the heater
is set lower than the room
temperature.
2. The switch for heat is not on.
1. Increase the thermostat temperature
on the heater to a higher heat setting.
2. Turn the low and/or high heat switch to
the on position along with the flame and
fan effect switch.
