RECOIL STARTER
The starterhandle is usedto startthe engine.
GASOLINE CAP
KEY
The keyisa safetydevice.It mustbe fully insertedin
orderfor theengineto start. Removethe key whenthe
snowthrowerisnot inuse.
NOTE:Do notturn the key in an attemptto startthe
engine.Doingso maycause it to break.
AUGER
Whenengaged,the augerrotationdrawssnowintothe augerhousing
andthrowsit out the dischargechute.Rubberpaddleson the auger
also aidin propellingthe snowthroweras theycomein contactwith
the pavement.
AUGER CONTROL
Locatedonthe upper handle,the augercontrolhandleis usedto
engageanddisengagedriveto the auger.Squeezethecontrol handJe
againstthe upper handleto engagethe auger; releaseit to disengage.
Removethe gas cap to add fuel.
