10. MAINTENANCE
10.1 MAINTENANCE
Warning! Do not make any of the following adjustments with the vacuum cleaner connected to
the power supply.
Disconnect the hose from the container.
Undo clasps and remove the top section from the container.
Clear all dirt or debris from the container and hose.
Check the hoses, attachments, and power cord to verify that they have not been damaged.
Important: Clean or change the cloth lter regularly for best performance.
Always use cloth lter for dry vacuuming.
If the machine is used without the cloth lter, the motor will burn out and the warranty will be
voided. Always keep spare lters on-hand.
Notice: The lters included are made of high quality materials designed to stop small dust
particles. The cloth lter should be used for dry pick-up only. A dry cloth lter is necessary to
pick up dust. If the cloth lter is wet, it will clog quickly and be very difcult to clean. Handle the
lter carefully when removing it for cleaning and replacing it. Check the lters for tears or small
holes, a small hole can let dust pass through and out of the cleaner. Do not use a lter with holes
or tears, replace it immediately.
Clean the reusable cloth lter by gently tapping or brushing dirt off. Cleaning should not be done
indoors in living areas.
Use a mild soap and water solution to wash the cloth lter, then rinse well in clean water. Allow
the lter to dry before installing back onto the lter cage.
Cleaning the foam sleeve lter should be cleaned using a mild soap and water solution to wash
the lter, then rinse well in clean water.
Allow the lter to air dry before installing back onto the lter cage.
Regular inspection and cleaning reduces the necessity for maintenance operations and will keep
your cleaner in good working condition.
If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by the manufacturer or his
agent in order to avoid a safety hazard.
Remove the plug from the socket before carrying out adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
