SMS

Short Messages

On the Short Messages Settings page you can organize, send and receive Short Message Service (SMS) messages by selecting among the Inbox,

Drafts and Setup tab. These messages can either be saved to the router’s internal memory or on the SIM card itself.

Choose between the location to store contact

numbers, either on your SIM/UICC card or the

DWR-960 device.

The current number of messages in the Inbox and

Drafts.

Your SIM/UICC card’s contact number, which should

be preset by your wireless network operator.

Click Apply to save your changes.

Inbox

Search Type in keyword to display messages containing

this keyword.

To reply a message, click the respective Content

column, ll in the reply Content, then click Send to

send the message immediately or Save as Draft to

save it in the Drafts box.

Click Apply to save your changes.

To add a new message, click +Add New in the upper-

right corner. Type in the receiver’s number in Send to

and messages in Content, then click Send to send

the message immediately or Save as Draft to save it

in the Drafts box.
