• Insert one end of the control rod from right
to left through the hole in the front wheel
arm. Attach with a hair pin found in parts
bag. See figure below.
• To attach the recoil starter rope to the
rope guide, twist the rope through the
rope guide mounted on the right side of
the handle.

• Push down on the handle to tilt unit back.
• Insert the other end of the control rod
from right to left through the hole in the
depth control lever. Attach with hair pin.
See figure below.
• Depth control lever should be in forward
most selection for transporting and
starting.
• Remove bottom packing material.
