Drying Rack (select models)
For boots, sneakers, fragile sweaters, afghans, nylon
stockings - any items that might be damaged by tum-
bling - use the removable drying rack.
To use the rack:
1) Position L-shaped legs against round inset at back of
dryer.
2) Rest the two front legs on either side of the lint
screen.
3) Check to see that the rack is securely in position.
4) Place items to be dried on top of the rack. Allow
space for air to circulate. Items should not hang over
the edge, between the supports, or touch any other
part of dryer. NOTE: The rack does not move, but
the drum rotates around the rack.
5) Close dryer door.
6) Use TIMED DRY CYCLE. Select temperature regu-
lar, medium, low or air fluff, depending on the item.
Before You Call
7) Some items may need to be rotated from front to
back or refolded to dry inner layers - check periodi-
cally.
8) To remove rack, simply grasp sides with hands and
lift out.

Doesn't Dry Properly
Check all of the above, plus .....
Check the exhaust hood outside the house, does it open and close freely?
Clean the lint filter and exhaust duct.
Use rigid 4" metal exhaust duct.
Do not overload. 1 wash load = 1 drver load.
Sort heavy items from lightweight items.
Check the washer to be sure it is draining properly to extract water from the load.
Clothes load is too small to tumble properly. Add a few towels.
Control Knob Advances Slowly
This is normal operation for an Auto Dry cycle, especially at the beginning of cyclel Once the !oad begins to dry,
the contro! knob wil! Start to advance. The rate of advancement wi!l be slaw at the beginning of the cycle because
there is more moisture in the !0ad, As the !0ad becomes more dry, the contro! knob wi!! advice more quickly.
