Using Turbo BoiITM Flex Element (some models)
The Turbo Boil TM (Flex) feature uses a higher wattage surface
radiant element which can bring food items to boil much
quicker. (Figure 7) The left front radiant element will be clearly
marked if this feature is available on your range. If equipped
with the Turbo Boil TM feature, place the cookware on the left
front surface element and follow the instructions "See "Oper-
ating Single Radiant Surface Elements"" in this section.

Warm Zone (some models)
The purpose of the warm zone is to keep hot cooked foods at
serving temperature. Use the warm zone feature to keep cooked
foods hot such as vegetables, gravies, casseroles, soups, stews,
breads, pastries and oven safe dinner plates.
Always start with hot food. Do not heat cold food with the warm
zone. All food placed on the warm zone should be covered with
a lid to maintain quality. For best results, when warming pastries
or breads, the cover should have an opening to allow moisture
to escape. Use only dish ware, utensils and cookware
recommended for oven and cooktop use on the warm zone.
To set warm zone:
1. Press warm zone. The warm zone indicator light will turn on.
2. Press the down arrow once for the lowest setting (LO) and
the bottom indicator light will turn on.
3. Press the up arrow once again for medium heat (MED) and
the middle indicator light will turn on.
4.
Press the up arrow again for the highest setting (HI). All
three indicator lights will turn on. The selected indicator
lights will remain on while the zone is heating. The warm
zone indicator lights will stay on until the warm zone is
turned off. To adjust the temperature up or down use the
arrow keys.
5. When ready to serve, press the warm zone key until the
indicator light is off. The warm zone will remain hot until the
hot surface indicator light turns off.
Food Poisoning Hazard. Do not let food sit for
more than one hour before or after cooking. Doing so may result
in food borne illness
Important notes:
Use only plates, utensils and cookware recommended for
oven and ceramic cooktop use. Do not use plastic wrap or
aluminum foil to cover food. Plastic or aluminum foil can
melt onto the cooktop.
Refer to the warm zone recommended food settings below. If a
particular food is not listed, start with the medium level, and
adjust as needed.

_Unlike other radiant surface elements, the warm
zone will not glow red when it is HOT. The glass surface may still
be hot and burns can occur if the glass surface is touched
before it has cooled sufficiently.
Do not place flammable items such as plastic
salt and pepper shakers or plastic wrappings on top of the
range when it is in use. These items could melt or ignite.
Potholders, towels or wooden spoons could catch fire if placed
too close to the surface elements. Do not allow aluminum foil,
empty glass-porcelain cookware or any material that can melt
to make contact with the ceramic cooktop.
