designed,built,andequippedtomeetthe state's stflngent
anti-smog standards.Sears mustwarrantthe emission
controlsystemon yourfawn andgardenequipmentengine
forthepedodoftimelistedbelowprovidedthere hasbeen
no abuse,neglect,or impropermaintenanceofyour lawn
and gardenequipmentengine.
Youremissioncontrolsystemincludespartssuchasthe
carburetororfuel injectedsystem,theign'dionsystem,and
connectorsandotheremisslan-relatsdassemblies.
Where a warrantableconditionexists,Sears willrepairyour
lawnand gardenequipmentengineat no costtoyou
includingdiagnosis,parts,and labor.
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY COVERAGE:
The 1996 andlater lawnand gardenequipmentenginesare
warrantedfor twoyears. Ifanyemission-mistedparton you
engineisdefective,thepartwillbe repairedor replacedby
Seam.
OWNER'S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the lawn and garden equipment engine owner, you are
responsible for the pedormance of the required maintenance;!,
listed in your Operatol's Manual. Sears recommends that
youretainall receiptscoveringmaintenanceonyourlawn
and gardenequipmentengine.Searscannotdenywarranty
solelyforthe lackof receiptsor foryourfailureto ensurethe
performanceofall scheduledmaintenance.
Asthe lawnand gardenequipment engineowner,you
shouldhoweverbe awarethatSeam may denyyouwarranty
coverageifyourlawnand gardenequipmentengineor a
pert hasfaileddueto abuse, neglect,impropermaintenance
or unepprovedmodifications.
You are responsiblefor presentingyourlawn andgarden
equipmentenginetoa Sears repaircenteras soon as a
problemexists.The warrantyrepairsshouldbe completedin
a reasonableamountoftime, nottoexceed30 days.
