Beginning with the following table, this information includes common problems, causes, and suggested solutions.

the self-piercing type, it may not have created
a sufficiently sized hole in tube for water to
pass through.

Correction
Turn on ice maker.
Connectwater supply (see Installation Instructions).
, Turn on household water line valve.
Q Turn off household water line valve. Remove valve.
Ensurethat valve is not a self-piercing valve. Clean
valve. Replacevalve if necessary.
If not, the ice & water filter cartridge is clogged or
restricted, and must be replaced.
Push firmly until the water filter snaps into place(you
should hear two (2) clicks).
Ice makershould produce approximately 9 poundsof
ice every 24 hours.
, Turn on household water line valve.
If it is, replacethe ice & water filter cartridge.
,, Coverfoods tightly. Discard staleice. ice makerwill
produce fresh supply.
,, Discard stale ice.
Ice Dispenser

° Ensureice maker is turned on. When the first supply
of ice is dropped into the bin, the dispenser should
operate.

for the ice to be made.When ice is made,the dispenser
should operate.
EnsureFreshFood door is closed. (SeeProblem
Section, Opening/Closingof Doors/Drawers)
,, Motor is overloaded. Motor overload protector will reset
in approximately three (3) minutes. Ice canthen be
dispensed.
Remove ice bin,thaw, and empty the contents. Clean
bin, wipe dry, and replacein proper position. When new
ice is made,dispenser should operate.
,, Usethe dispenser often so that cubes do not freeze
together.
The ice & water filter cartridge could be clogged.
Replacethe filter cartridge. Dispensingsystem operates
bestat 30-1go psi water pressure.Well water pressures
should fall within this range.
