1. Topreventgum from forminginfuel systemoron carburetor
parts,run engineuntilit stopsfrom lackof fuel or adda gasoline
additiveto thegas in thetank. If youuse agas additive,runthe
enginefor severalminutesto circulatethe additivethroughthe
carburetor--afterwhichthe engineandfuel canbe storedupto
24months.
2. Whileengineis still warm,changethe oil.
3. Cleanengineof surfacedebris.

• Cleanand lubricatemowerthoroughlyas describedinthe lubrica-
tion instructions.
• Donot usea pressurewasheror gardenhoseto cleanyour unit.
• Coatmower'scuttingbladewithchassisgreaseto prevent
rusting.
• Referto PREPARINGTHE ENGINEfor correctenginestorage
instructions.
• Store mowerin a dry,cleanarea. Do notstorenext tocorrosive
materials,suchas fertilizer.
Whenstoringany type of powerequipmentina poorlyventilatedor
metalstorageshed,care shouldbetaken to rust-prooftheequipment.
Usinga lightoil or silicone,coatthe equipment,especiallycablesand
all movingpartsof yourlawnmowerbeforestorage.
