2-Outlet Mechanical Timer
Instruction Manual
Before Programming
Using your finger, pen or screwdriver, pull up all the gray Pins around the
outer edge of the Timer Dial.
Setting Automatic ON/OFF Positions
Each Pin represents 30 minutes. Press down the Pins that correspond to
the time(s) you want your lamp/device to be ON. Make sure to push
down ALL of the Pins between your desired ON and OFF times (see
illustration). Please note that your Timer can be programmed to as many
as 48 ON/OFF times in a 24 hour period depending on what Pins you
select.
Setting Time
Grasping the Pin Ring that surrounds the Timer Dial, turn the Ring
clockwise until the triangular “TIME” Pointer is pointing to the current
time of day (see photo).
Turn Timer to On Position
Be sure Switch on top of timer is set to “TIMER ON” position.
Using Your Timer
Once desired ON/OFF time(s) and time of day are set, plug your
lamp/device into the Timer and plug the Timer into a wall outlet. Be
sure wall outlet has power, your lamp/device is turned on and Timer is
switched to the “TIMER ON” position. Timer will start to operate,
turning lamp/device ON/OFF as you have programmed it to.
Manual ON/OFF
Your programmed ON/OFF time(s) can be manually over-ridden by
moving the Switch at the top of the Timer to the “OUTLET ON”
position. In this position, your lamp/device will remain ON permanently.
To resume your programmed ON/OFF time(s), simply slide the switch
back to the “TIMER ON” position.
Notes:
In the event of a power failure, reset the current time of day as described
in “Setting Time” section. On/off times previously set will not change.
Do not plug in more than rated load (see electrical ratings on back of
Timer or package). For lamps that contain more than one bulb, add up
watts of each bulb to make sure you are not exceeding the maximum
wattage of the Timer. See ratings below, on the product or on the back of
the package.

PRECAUTIONS:
- For indoor use only.
- Do not use with any device which exceeds capacity of timer.
- Always ensure that device plug is fully inserted into timer.
- If timer needs cleaning, unplug and wipe with a dry cloth.
- Do not immerse in water or any liquid.
FAN HEATERS AND HEATERS WITH EXPOSED ELEMENTS SHOULD NOT BE
CONNECTED TO TIMERS.
