CONCERN CAUSE SOLUTION
WATER / MOISTURE / FROST INSIDE APPLIANCE

humid, which increas-

frost buildup.
Door is slightly open.
Door is kept open
too long.
This is normal.
Look for food items on the shelves
or in the door bins keeping the door
from closing completely.
Open the door less often.
ODOR IN APPLIANCE
Odors in
appliance.
Interior needs to
be cleaned.
Foods with strong odors
are in the appliance.
The air filter needs to
be replaced.
Clean interior with sponge, warm wa-
ter, and baking soda. Replace air filter.
Cover the food tightly.

DOOR PROBLEMS
Door will
not close.
Appliance is not level. It
rocks on the floor when
it is moved slightly.
Floor is uneven or weak.
This condition can force the cabinet
out of square and misalign the door.
Refer to “Leveling” in the INSTALLA-
TION section.
Ensure floor can adequately support
appliance. Level the appliance by put-
ting wood or metal shims under part
of the appliance.

LIGHTING PROBLEMS
Cabinet light is
not working.
LED has burned out. Call a Frigidaire service technician.
