PARTS IDENTIFICATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Clean the griddle surface with a damp cloth to wipe off dust or any unwanted
residue.
• NEVER soak the unit in water and NEVER use abrasive cleaners or scouring
pads on the non-stick surface as they might damage the coating.
• Apply a light coat of cooking oil to the non-stick surface of the griddle.
• Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet and set the temperature to 425°F for
approximately 3-5 minutes.
NOTE: The initial irst use may result in minimal smell and smoke. This is caused by the unit
burning off the protective coating that is applied during
manufacturing. It is normal and harmless.
• After the allotted time, turn the thermostat to “OFF” position then unplug the
cord.
• Detach the cord from the griddle and let the unit cool down.
