SERVICE ADJUSTM
CAUTION: BEFORE PERFORMING ANY SERVICE OR ADJUSTMENTS:
, Depress dutch/brake peda_ fully and set parking brake°
* Place gearshift lever in neuttat (N) position.
, Ptace attachment dutch in "DISENGAGED" position.
, Turn ignition key "OFF" and remove key.
, Make sure the blades and a_l moving parts have comp_etemy stopped.
® Disconnect spark plug wire from spark pmug and ptace wire where it cannot come in contact with
plug.
TRACTOR
TO REMOVE MOWER (See Fig. 19)
Mower witi be easier to remove from the right side of tractor.
• Ptace attachment clutch in "D_SENGAGED" position.
o Move attachment lift lever fo_ard to lower mower to its
lowest position.
• Roll belt off engine pulley.
• Disconnect clutch rod from clutch lever by removing
retainer spring.
• Disconnect anti-sway bar from chassis bracket by
removing retainer spring.
® Disconnect suspension arms from rear deck brackets
by removing retainer springs.
Disconnect front links from deck by removing retainer
springs.
• Raise lift lever to raise suspension arms. Stide mower
out from under tractor.
iMPORTANT: IF AN ATTACHMENT OTHER THAN THE
MOWER iS TO BE MOUNTED TO THE TRACTOR, THE
R.H. AND LH. SUSPENSION ARMS MUST BE REMOVED
FROM TRACTOR.
TO iNSTALL MOWER (See Fig. 19)
Raise attachment lift lever to its highest position.
o Siide mower under tractor with discharge guard to right
side of tractor.
o Lower lift tever to its lowest position.
Install mower in reverse order of removal instructions.
