CLEANINGTHEICEDISPENSER
Cleanthedispenserandicecontaineratregularintervals,
particularlybeforeyoutakea vacationormove,oriftheice
dispensersticks_
1. StopiceproductionbyliftingthewiresignaIarmtothe
"up"orOFFposition(sidemounted)ortheicemaker'sOn/
OffpowerswitchturnedOff-settothe"O"position(rear
mounted).
2. Removeicecontainerbyliftingupandout.Emptyand
carefullycleanthecontainerwithmilddetergent.Rinse
withclearwater.Donotuseharshorabrasivecleaners.
Allowicecontainertodrycompletelybeforereplacingin
thefreezer.
3. Removeicechipsandcleantheshelfandchutethat
supportstheicecontainer.
4. Replacetheicecontainer.Lowerthewiresignalarmon
theicemakertothe"down"or ONposition(side
mounted)ortheicemaker'sOn/Offpowerswitchisturned
On-settothe"r position.(rearmounted)andtheice
makerwillresumeproduction.
Remove and empty the ice storage bin if:
1. An extended power failure (one hour or longer) causes ice
cubes in the ice storage bin to melt and freeze together
and iam the dispenser mechanism.
2. The ice dispenser is not used frequentiy, ice cubes will
freeze together in the bin and jam the dispenser
mechanism. Remove the ice storage bin and shake to
loosen the cubes.
