Have tile wall outlet and circuit checked bv a
qualified electrician to make sure tile outlet is
properly grounded.
If tile outlet is a standard 2-prong wall outlet, it
is your personal responsibility and obligation to
have it replaced with a propedy grounded 3-prong
wall outlet.

indixidual electrical outlet which has a xoltage rating
that matches the rating plate.

the use of an adapter plug.

Tile larger slot in tile adapter must be aligned with
tile linger slot in tile wall outlet to provide proper
polari V in tile connection of tile power cord.
When disconnecting tile power cord fl'om tile
a(lapte_; always hold tile adapter in place with one
hand while pulling tile power cord plug with tile
other hand. If this is not done, tile adapter gro/md
terminal is very likely to break with repeated use.
If tile adapter ground temfinal breal<s, DO NOT USE
tile fl'eezer until a proper ground has been
established.
Attaching the adapter ground terminal to a waft outlet
cover screw does not ground the appliance unless the
cover screw is metal, and not insulated, and the waft
outlet is grounded through the house wiring. Youshould
have the ckcuit checkedby a qualified electrician to make
sure the oufiet is proper/y groundecL
