3. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Converter is not functioning. Converter is not turned on.
AC outlet has no power.
Conrm converter’s green light
is ON.
Conrm the AC outlet is live.
Check wall switches, breakers
and fuses.
Green light is on, but appliance is
not functioning.
Poor connection at 12V socket.
Appliance malfunction.
Blown fuse.
Remove and re-insert the
appliance’s 12V plug into the
converter’s 12V socket to ensure
good connection.
Verify appliance is functioning
by plugging into a vehicle’s 12V
cigarette lighter socket/12V
accessory port.
Check appliance fuse (either in
12V plug or in appliance).
Green light is on, but shuts off
when appliance is plugged in.
Converter is overloaded. Check the appliance’s power
consumption requirements.
4. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
4.1 Coil the input cord neatly when storing the converter. This will help prevent accidental damage to the
cords and converter.
4.2 Occasionally cleaning the converter’s case with a soft cloth will keep the nish shiny and help prevent
corrosion.
4.3 Store the converter in a clean and dry location.

Consult the dealer or an experienced radio technician for help.
