OWNERS MANUAL

PLEASE SAVE THIS OWNERS MANUAL AND READ BEFORE EACH USE.

This manual will explain how to use the converter safely and effectively.

Please read and follow these instructions and precautions carefully.

1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS – SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

1.1 SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS – This manual contains important safety and operating instructions.

1.2 For Indoor use only. Do not expose converter to rain or snow.

1.3 Do not open unit; risk of electrical shock.

1.4 The 12 volt socket is wired so the center conductor is Positive (+) and the outer sleeve is Negative (-).

Please conrm that the 12V plug being used is wired the same way.

1.5 Must use a heavy duty #18 AWG extension cord – 50 foot maximum length.

1.6 Do not put ngers into 12V receptacle.

1.7 To insure proper ventilation, always rest unit on its base.

1.8 Unit gets hot – do not set converter on ammable materials like carpeting, upholstery, paper, cardboard, etc.

1.9 To reduce risk of electrical shock, unplug the converter from the 120V AC electrical outlet before

attempting any maintenance or cleaning.

1.10 Do not operate the converter if it has a damaged power cord or plug. Have the cord replaced.

1.11 Never pull out the plug by its cord when unplugging the converter. Pulling on the cord may cause

damage to the cord and/or plug.

1.12 Never operate converter if it has been dropped or otherwise damaged. Take it to a qualied professional

for inspection and repair.

1.13 Do not disassemble converter. Take it to a qualied service professional if service or repair is required.

Incorrect assembly may result in re or electrical shock.

2. USING YOUR AC TO DC CONVERTER

CONNECTING YOUR AC TO DC CONVERTER

1. Plug converter into a 120V AC outlet. The Green “Power ON” LED will illuminate when properly

functioning.

2. Insert 12V accessory plug into converter’s socket (maximum 6 Amps or 72 Watts).

DISCONNECTING YOUR AC TO DC CONVERTER

1. Remove the 12V plug from the converter.

2. Disconnect converter from the 120V AC outlet.

3. Let converter completely cool before storing.
