CARE AND CLEANING
Regulator and hose replacement
The pressure regulator and hose assembly supplied with the unit must be used. If
replacements are needed, contact customer care at dcsappliances.com.
Resetting the flow control
Failure to follow the steps in the order shown may cause the Flow Limiting Device to
activate resulting in extremely low gas flow and irregular operation.
1 All dials must be in the
OFF position.
2 Attach regulator hose assembly to the tank and open the LP tank valve (minimum of
two full turns).
Stainless steel
Always use the mildest cleaning method first. Do not use steel wool to clean the product as
it will scratch the surface.
Griddle
The griddle assembly does not need to be removed for cleaning.
After each use:
3 While the griddle is still hot, remove all food particles using a brass brush.
4 Wait for the griddle to cool to a medium heat before rubbing the surface
lightly with vegetable oil.
5 Wipe the grill thoroughly to remove any residue or food particles.
To remove excess grease build up:
6 Apply 1 tablespoon of vinegar and ½ cup of water to the griddle plate.
7 Clean with a scouring cloth taking care not to scratch surface.
8 Re-season the griddle follow instructions on page 7.
The griddle will naturally darken over time, this is normal and does not require any
additional cleaning. To remove any heat discoloration a stainless steel cleaner can be used.
