Message Cause and remedy
The symbol lights up
on the start display and
a buzzer also sounds.
The charcoal filter change indicator on the start
display reminds you that the charcoal filter needs to
be changed.
Replace the charcoal filter in the holder (see
“Cleaning and care – Replacing the charcoal filters
(optional accessories)”) and touch the symbol
on the display to confirm that you have changed
the charcoal filter.
The symbol will go out on the start display.
lights up yellow
in the display and
an alarm also
sounds.
The ice cube drawer is not in the refrigeration appli-
ance. A buzzer sounds after closing the appliance
door.
Tap on the display.
The alarm message is confirmed and the buzzer
stops.
The current temperature will appear in the display
again.
Replace the drawer correctly or switch the ice
cube maker off.
The mains water connection has not been installed.
Make sure that the mains water connection has
been installed correctly.
The water supply is turned off.
Open the stopcock.
There is a kink in the hose.
Check the hose; if it is faulty, it must only be re-
placed by an original Miele spare part.
The water connection pressure is too low.
Check that the water connection pressure is
between 150kPa and 600kPa (1.5bar and 6bar).

The drawer for the ice cube maker is full.
Remove the drawer and empty it.
