points to Closed/Store.

Using your Quick Marinating
Container
1. Place food inside the marinating
container and fully cover with prepared
marinade. Always leave at least 2cm
space between contents and top of
container (Fig 1).
2. Ensure rim of container and rubber seal
on lid are free from food materials.
3. Insert one end of the Accessory
Hose into the accessory port on your
FoodSaver
®
appliance (Fig 2).
4. Insert the other end of the Accessory
Hose into the port on the Quick
Marinator lid (Fig 3).
5. Place the lid firmly onto the marinator
base (Fig 4).

6. Turn the knob on the container lid so
arrow aligns with correct MARINATE
model. (Fig. 5).
7. Press the Accessory/Vacuum button on
your FoodSaver
®
appliance.

8. Turn the knob on the container lid
to CLOSED/STORE once vacuum is
complete (Fig 6.)
9. Remove accessory hose and place
container in refrigerator for 15-20
minutes.

You can marinate in a fraction of the
time with the Quick Marinator. Food that
normally takes hours to marinate takes only
minutes because vacuum packaging opens
up pores of the food to absorb flavours
more quickly.
All FoodSaver
®
vacuum packaging
accessories (bags, canisters, containers)
work for marinating but the Quick
Marinator is recommended due to its wide,
shallow shape meaning less marinade is
required and a wider variety of meat cuts
can fit inside.
Marinating Tips
1. Clean using a mild dishwashing soap and
a warm, damp cloth. Do not immerse the
lid in water.
2. Dry thoroughly before using.
3. The Quick Marinator base (but not lid) is
top shelf dishwasher safe. The lid should
be wiped down with a damp cloth.
4. Do not place the Quick Marinator in the
freezer.
Storage and Cleaning
If the Quick Marinator will not vacuum:
• Ensure the rubber seal on the container
lid is clean and free from food.
• Examine the rim of the container for
cracks or scratches. Any gaps can
prevent a vacuum from forming properly.
• Ensure the container isn’t filled too full.
Always leave 2cm between the contents
and the lid.
• Make sure the accessory hose is securely
inserted into the accessory port on
the appliance and in the port on the
container lid.
Note: Allow hot foods to cool to room
temperature before vacuum packaging.
Otherwise, the contents may bubble up out
of the container.
