SortingWashLoads
Sort by color (whites, lights, colors), soil level,
fabric type (sturdy cottons, easy care, delicates),
and whether tile fabric produces lint (tell T
cloth, chenille), or collects lint (velveteen,
corduroy).
ProperUseof Detergent
Using too II//lch detergent is a COli/ii/on ('arise
of latmdry i)roblems. Todav's detergents are
fimnulated to be ettective without highly visible

You can use less detergent if you haxe soft water,
a smaller load or a lightl) soiled load.

I,oad dry items loosely, no higher than tile top
row of holes in tile washer basket. When loading
wet items make sure you set the load/water level
high enough to allow the items to move fl'eelv:
