Moving Your Appliance
1. Remove all items from the shelves.
2. Securely tape down all loose items (shelves) inside your appliance.
3. Tape the door shut.
4. Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright position during transport.
Also, protect the outside of the appliance with a blanket or similar covering.
Power Cord
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid an electrical hazard.
Energy-Saving Tips
• The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from
heat producing appliances and out of direct sunlight.
• Ensure that the unit is adequately ventilated. Never cover air vents.
• Do not keep the door open any longer than necessary.
PRECAUTIONS
• To minimize shock and fire hazards, be sure not to overload the electrical
outlet.
• To minimize electric shock and malfunction, do not spray the unit with water.
• To minimize fire hazards, do not use flammable spray products near the unit.
• After unplugging the unit, wait at least 6 minutes before re-plugging it.
Compressor failure could result if the unit is plugged in before the 6-minute
waiting period has elapsed.
• Cautions for cleaning:
√ Unplug the power cord before cleaning.
√ Do not unplug/plug the power cord with wet hands.
√ Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents or polishing agents on plastic parts.
Doing so might cause cracking or discoloring.
• When the unit is not in use:
√ Unplug the power cord.
√ Wipe inside with dry cloth, and you may leave the door slightly open to
eliminate moisture and odor.
