Install above a drawer
When ng a gas hob above a drawer or standard housing unit, suitable precauns must be taken to prevent
contact with the casing of the hob which becomes very hot during operan. The recommended method for
overcoming this problem is to x a wooden panel (non-combusble) within the cabinet at a distance of
minimum 90mm below the benchtop (see dimension E above).
This panel must have adequate venan (
minimum 30 mm) to the rear as shown in above diagram. The panel
underneath the hob must be easily removable to allow for any servicing requirements
