Troubleshooting
Always contact a qualified service technician to replace the power cord if it is damaged,
never replace the power cord by yourself.
Problem Possible Cause Solutions
Cooktop does
not work.
Cooktop controls are locked. Deactivate the lock function.
Power outage.
Check the house power supply wires.
Contact the dealer.
Cooktop does
not Heat.
No cookware or improper
cookware.
Make sure the cookware is centered on
the cooking zone and the material of the
cookware is cooktop compatible.
Inproper cookware size.
Replace with a proper size of cookware.
The bottom of the cookware should cover
the cooking zone completely.
The cookware is not properly
located on the cooking zone.
Make sure the cookware bottom is flat and
the cookware is centered on the cooking area.
No power to the cooktop. See "cooktop does not work" section.
Cooktop turns
off while in
cooking.
The cooktop internal heat
sensor detected a high
temperature inside
the cooktop.
Make sure the cooktop vents are not
blocked.
Liquid or object on the
control area.
Clean up the spills or remove any objects
on the control area. Restart the unit.
The fun keeps
running for one
minute after the
unit has been
switched off.
The electronics are
cooling down.
This is normal.
ā€œUā€ appears
on the digital
display.
No cookware is detected on
the cooking zone after
10 seconds.
Make sure the material of the cookware is
cooktop compatible and it is centered on
the cooking zone.
ā€œE0ā€ appears
on the digital
display.
IGBT overheating.
Turn off unit to allow IGBT to cool.
Restart the unit.
