MOWINGTIPS
• Formostcuttingconditionsand bettor
beggingperformance,the engine speed
shouldbe set inthefast position.
• Under certainconditions,suchas when
mowingvery tallgrass,raisethe mower
heightonthe firstcutto reducepushing
effort,to avoid overheatingthe engine,end
to avoidleaving clumpsof grassclippings.

MULCHING MOWING TIPS

• The specielmulchingbladewill recutthe
grassclippingsmany timesand reduce
them insize sothat as they fallontothe
lawntheywill disperseintothe grassand
net be noticed.Also,the mulchedgrass
willbiodegradequicklyto providenutrients
for the lawn. Alwaysmulchwithyour
highestengine (blade)speed as this will
provide the best recutting actionof the
blades.
• Avoidcuttingyourlawnwhen itiswet. Wet
grasstendstoform dumps end interferes
withthe mulchingaction. The besttimeto
mow yourlawnisthe earlyaRemoon. At
this time the grasshasddedand the newiy
cutarea willnot be exposedtothe direct
sun.
• Forbestresults,adjustthe lawnmower
cuttingheightso thatthe lawnmoworcuts
offonlythetop one-thirdofthe grass
blades, ffthe lawnis overgrownitwill be
necessaryto raisethe heightof cutto
reducepushingeffortand tokeep from
