OPERATING TIPS
Check Chaintension before firstuse

DIFFICULT STARTING OR
STARTING A FLOODED ENGINE
The engine may be floodedifithas not
startedafter 10 pulls.Rooded engines
can be cleared of excess fuel withthe
follovAngprocedure:

Verifythat the On/Stop switchis inthe
ON position. - :
Pushchoke knob tothe OFF position.

Begin cuttingwiththe saw frame
against the log.
Keep the engine at full speed the
entire time you are cutting.
Allowthe chainto cut foryou. Exert
onlylight _lownward pressure.
Release'the_throttlerigger as soon
asthe cut Is completed, allowingthe
engineto Idle. If you runthe saw at
fullthrottlewithouta cuffingload,
unnecessarywear can occur.
Toavoid losingcontrolwhen cut is
complete, donot put pressure on
saw at end of cut.
Stop enginebeforesettingsawdown.
TREE FELLING TECHNIQUES
