Congratulations on your purchase of a Remington
®
brand wet/dry
shaver. The model you have purchased can be used in or out of the
shower and is designed to hug the curves of a woman’s body for a
close, fast shave.
USE AND CARE
• Battery operated – your shaver requires 2 “AAA 1.5 volt alkaline
batteries (not included). We recommend Rayovac
®
batteries for best
performance.
Inserting the batteries:
Remove the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the
shaver by twisting the clasp in a counter-clockwise direction.
Insert the batteries as shown on the indicator of the battery compartment.
Push the battery compartment cover back onto the shaver so that it
is inserted all the way and turn the clasp back to its original position
to secure the battery door in place.
NOTE: The battery compartment cover will only t in one direction.
THE SHAVER WILL NOT OPERATE IF THE BATTERIES ARE INSTALLED
IMPROPERLY. BE SURE TO DO SO ACCURATELY.
BATTERY CAUTIONS:
Use of non-alkaline batteries will impair the unit’s operating performance.
Batteries should not be left in the unit if the unit is not in use for long
periods.
To prevent battery corrosion, the unit should be stored in a dry
environment.
Dead batteries should be removed immediately and disposed of
properly.
Do not use rechargeable batteries with this product. The lower voltage
in rechargeable batteries impairs the performance of the cutting unit.
HOW TO USE:
All Remington
®
shavers give you a great, close shave, wet or dry. Your
shaver is recommended for use on the legs, underarms, bikini line, etc.
and is ideal for use at home, when traveling, at the gym or anywhere!
Before using, check the shaving head for damage. If signs of wear or
damage are evident, do not use the shaver as injury may occur. It is not
necessary to press hard while shaving. Too much pressure while shaving
may cause skin irritation and the shaver will not function properly.
For wet shaving, a thin layer of soap or shaving cream may be applied
to the skin before shaving, but it is not recommended. Skin should
be clean for dry shaving. You can use your shaver wet or dry but the
shaver must never be submerged in water.
CLEANING YOUR SHAVER
Remington recommends cleaning your shaver after every use for
optimal performance. Turn the shaver OFF. Pull the blade assembly
from the unit and rinse the blades under running water. Blow out hair
or debris or use a small brush to brush out hair and debris when the
shaver is dry. The area around the blades may also be wiped clean with
a soft, dry cloth.
For best shaving performance, it is suggested to lightly oil the shaving
heads regularly by spreading a drop of mineral oil over the foil and
trimmers. If this does not improve the performance of your shaver, the
shaving head assembly may need to be replaced. The replacement for
this shaver is model number SPW-100.

are due to faulty material or workmanship for a two-year period from
the original date of consumer purchase. This warranty does not include
damage to the product resulting from accident or misuse.
