Method
1 Mix group 1 together in a bowl.
2 Sieve flour and baking powder together into a second bowl, stir in
the sugar.
3 Combine groups 1 and 2 together, mix well.
4 Pour mixture into Baking Pan.
5 Refer to Page 21 for baking cycle times.

Ginger Cake

Black Treacle 2 tsp

Baking powder 2 tsp
Ground Ginger 1 tsp
Dark muscovado sugar 226g
Crystallised ginger,
finely chopped 50g
Method
1 In a bowl mix the first 3 ingredients.
2 Sieve the flour, baking powder and ground ginger into another
bowl. Ensure the sugar is free from lumps and then stir it in to the
flour mixture with the chopped ginger.
3 Combine both bowls and mix well.
4 Bake for 3 hours 05 minutes.
