OPERATION
DRILLING IN CERAMIC TILES
For maximum performance, use carbide-
tipped masonry bits (available separately)
for ceramic tile drilling. It’s recommended
to use the impulse mode to drill into the
ceramic tiles.
1. Use just enough force on the drill to
keep it from bouncing excessively. Too
much force will cause slower drilling
speeds, overheating and a lower drilling
rate.
2. Do not exert side pressure on the bit
when drilling, as this will cause clogging
of the bit flutes and a slower drilling
speed.
3. If the drill speed starts to drop off when
drilling deep holes, pull the bit partially
out of the hole with the tool still running
to help clear debris from the hole.
SCREWDRIVER OPERATION
1. Select the desired speed/torque range
to match the planned operation.
2. Attach the desired fastener accessory
into the chuck.
3. Make a few practice runs in a scrap
piece before working.
WARNING:
When servicing, use
only identical replacement parts. Use of
any other parts may create a hazard or
cause product damage.
WARNING:
To avoid serious
personal injury, always remove the battery
pack from the product when cleaning or
performing any maintenance.
WARNING:
Avoid using solvents
when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics
are susceptible to damage from various
types of commercial solvents and may be
damaged by their use. Use a clean cloth
to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
Using compressed
air may be the most effective cleaning
method. Always wear safety goggles
when cleaning tools with compressed air.
