COMPATIBILITY
Your device is compatible with this cable kit if the correct tip
is available.
Note: Your kit contains seven common tips that work with most
devices. However, the tips may not work will all devices. If none of
the tips work with your device, you can return your kit within the
return period. Contact Insignia Customer Support for additional
information.
BEFORE USING YOUR CABLE
You can nd your device’s input and voltage on the device
itself, on its power adapter, or in its manual. Contact the
manufacturer if you cannot nd this information. Using the
incorrect tip or a power adapter that does not match your
device's input could damage the device.
SETTING UP YOUR CABLE
CAUTIONS:
• DO NOT force a jack connector to t into your device. You
can damage your device.
• The jack connectors have two prongs that are dierent
sizes. When you plug a jack connector into your device,
make sure that the prongs align correctly with the holes
on your device. Otherwise, you can damage your device.
1 Carefully test the black DC jack connectors by gently
inserting them into the DC jack on your device. Choose a
connector that ts snugly, but do not force a connector to
t.

2 Carefully test the gray DC jack connector that ts the
connector on your device’s power adapter. Choose a
connector that ts snugly, but do not force a connector
to t.
3 Connect the black and gray DC jack connectors you
selected into the black and gray connectors on the DC
cable.
4 Plug the adapter into an outlet.

Notes:
• Lack of power: The longer the cable, the more resistance and
power loss, and hence requires more power from the power
supply. Make sure that you have adequate power to use the
extension cable
