Now you have prepared a Cappuccino! Sweeten it as desired. Sprinkle the froth with a
little of cocoa powder.
Clean the steam outlet after each use to avoid blockages in the steam pipe.
Read and follow the section CLEANING THE STEAM OUTLET.
Preparing Other Hot Beverages
The function STEAM, besides preparing froth, may be used to prepare hot beverages
like drinking chocolate, water or tea, as well. Simply replace the „jug of milk“ with a jug
of a beverage you would like to steam-heat.
1 Press the button
to turn off the appliance.
2 Check if the water tank needs to be lled. The water level must not exceed the MAX
mark. Re ll the tank, if necessary, as described, and place it into the appliance.
3 Make sure that the steam knob is at position 0 and the button
is off to prevent
accidental scalding.
4 Press the button
to turn on the appliance.
5 Press the button
. The appliance will start pumping water from the tank through
the lter.
6 When the water starts owing out of the outlet, press the button
again to stop.
7 The appliance now begins to heat the water.
8 Wait until the WATER indicator lights.
9 Press the button
.
10 Wait until the indicator STEAM lights.
11 Plunge the steam tube into the liquid you want to heat.
12 If you want to froth milk, dip the steam tube approx. 2 cm into the milk.
13 Turn the steam knob slowly and counter-clockwise to heat the liquid.
14 When you have prepared the hot beverage, turn the steam knob back to position 0.
15 Press the button
to turn off the appliance.
