ASSEMBLY
Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging material before rst use to avoid damaging the
appliance or impairing its functionality.
Placing the Appliance
Only connect the appliance if the mains voltage of the socket corresponds to the
information on the appliance.
Connect the appliance to an easily accessible socket so that it can be quickly
disconnected from the power supply in the event of a fault.
Place the appliance on a level, clean work surface, far away from water and other
liquids. Otherwise, the appliance may fall into the water and cause an electric shock.
Keep the appliance away from hot surfaces and heat sources such as heaters, stoves,
ovens, open res, and direct sunlight. The material of the appliance may melt due to
heat and expose the live parts of the appliance. This can cause a short circuit and
consequently a re.
Also make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces and
heat sources.
Lay the power cord behind the appliance and do not let the power cord hang over the
edge of the work surface to prevent accidental tearing.
Do not bend the power cord or lay it over sharp edges.
Do not use the appliance with a timer or remote operating system.
When not in use, unplug the power plug from the wall outlet.
Inserting the Filter
To insert the selected lter in the metal funnel, make sure to align the notch on the lter
with the groove inside the funnel.
Turn the lter to the left or right to lock in place. This will help secure the lter in the
funnel.
