USE AND OPERATION
Before rst Use
Clean the baking plate, stone and trays before using the appliance for the rst
time (see Cleaning and Care). The appliance may emit a little smoke and a
characteristic smell when you switch it on for the rst time. This is normal, and
will soon stop. Make sure the appliance has sucient ventilation. Keep house
birds away from the appliance when it is in use; fumes released from the non-stick
coating when the grill plate is hot can cause stress to birds.
Preheating
1. Put the appliance on a level and heat-resistant surface.
2. Put the plug into the wall socket.
3. Turn on the unit by “On/O” switch for cooking.
4. Wait a few minutes before the set temperature is reached. The appliance is
now ready for use.
