Using the Express Steam Pro
NOTE: To prevent limescale, we recommend
distilled, de-ionised or demineralised water
(available from most large supermarkets). Never
use battery topping up fluid or water containing
any substances like starch, sugar, fragrant
additives or defrosted water from a refrigerator.
Please see point 2 of ‘Exclusions’ on page 8.
To use, h
old the water tank handle (16) and lift the
removable water tank
(14) from the base
(18)
. Turn
the tank upside down to reveal the filling hole valve
(12). Unscrew the valve and remove. Fill the tank as
required - a full tank will provide over 60 minutes of
steaming. Replace the valve, screwing it firmly into
place. Turn the tank upright again and relocate
onto the base, ensuring it is fitted correctly.
After use, remove the tank and empty the water. Do
not move the whole product with water in the tank,
as a small amount of water may be released.
NOTE: When the tank is fitted, the valve will
automatically open to release water into the base.
When removing the tank, it is normal for water to
drip and for water to remain in the well in the base
under the tank. Please allow the product to cool
before removing this water.
WARNING: Always ensure the descale plug
(20)
is fully tightened, or it may leak water/steam.
Hang the garment to be steamed over the
hanger
(7) at the top of the telescopic poles (9).
Alternatively, use a non-metal coat hanger which
can be hung from the hanger hook
(5).
If steaming trousers, they may be hung by
attaching them to the trouser clips
(8) under the
hanger.
1) Filling the tank 2) Hanging the garment
The brush attachment (1) removes hair and loose
fibres from the garment before steaming. Check
the garment is suitable for brushing and steaming.
Click the attachment into place on the hotplate
(2).
WARNING: Only fit or remove the brush
attachment whilst the handheld steamer
(4) is
cool, and never whilst emitting steam.
Remove the brush attachment
(1) by pulling the
removal tab
(3).
Plug in and switch on at the mains. Turn the steam
dial
(17) to the desired setting. The power indicator
light
(15) will illuminate. The unit will reach optimal
temperature and automatically begin emitting steam
from the hotplate
(2) in approximately 45 seconds.
Steaming will continue until it is switched off at the
mains or until the water tank
(14) is empty
.
WARNING: There may be residual steam emitted,
even after switching off the unit.

surface of the garment. Pass the Garment
Steamer over the garment whilst steaming, you
may need to do this a few times to remove more
stubborn creases.
Occasionally brush the garment with the brush
accessory to help relax the fibres.
WARNING: Do not direct steam at animals or
people. Do not steam clothes that are being worn.
F
or extra steam to tackle stubborn creases /
heavy fabrics, increase the steam output by
turning the steam dial
(17)
to the higher settings.
There are three steam settings: low; medium;
high.

(17)
to ‘O’
