Cycle and Option Descriptions
*These cycles utilize the Water Conservation feature. Water Conservation is on the 202.889.20 (IUD8555DX) model only.
CYCLE SELECTIONS
CYCLES SOIL LEVEL
The most advanced and versatile cycle. This cycle senses load size, soil amount, and toughness of soil,
to adjust the cycle for optimal cleaning using only the amount of water and energy needed.

*Use for hard-to-clean, heavily soiled pots, pans, casseroles, and tableware. Heavy/Baked on
*This cycle is recommended to completely wash and dry a full load of normally soiled dishes. The
energy label is based on this cycle.

(On some models) Our most efficient dishwasher cycle helps minimize energy and water usage while
cleaning dishes.

For fast results, 1 Hour Wash will clean dishes using slightly more water and energy. Select the Heat Dry
option to provide best drying performance.

Use for rinsing dishes, glasses, and silverware that will not be washed right away. Not intended to be
used with detergent.

Can be selected with any wash cycles. When selected with the 1 Hour
Wash cycle, the time is increased by approximately 30 minutes.

Uses the heating element to
speed drying times.
Raises the main wash temperature to improve cleaning for loads
containing tough, baked-on food.

temperature from 105°F
(41°C) to either 130°F (55°C)
or 140°F (60°C).
Sani Rinse adds heat and time to the cycle. This high temperature rinse
sanitizes your dishes and glassware in accordance with NSF International
NSF/ANSI Standard 184 for Residential Dishwashers.
Certified residential dishwashers are not intended for licensed food
establishments.

Increases the main wash

the final rinse from 140°F
(60°C) to 155°F (68°C).
Can be selected with any cycle for washing a small load of dishes in the
top rack.

Delays the start of the cycle for 4 hours.
To delay the start:
1. Select a wash cycle and options.
2. Press DELAY.
3. Press START/RESUME to begin 4 hour delay.
Note: If the door is opened (such as to add a dish), the Start/Resume
button must be pressed to resume the delay countdown.
