EXHAUST HEPA FILTER REPLACEMENT
EXHAUST FILTER STYLE EF-1
The EXHAUST HEPA FILTER must be
replaced when it becomes dirty. The
timing between replacement intervals will
depend on the use conditions the vacuum
cleaner is exposed to, The EXHAUST
HEPA FILTER should be checked when
changing the dust bag. The filter
CANNOT be washed as it will lose its
dust trapping ability.
1. Remove EXHAUST HEPA FILTERcover
by pressing the release tab on the cover
and rotating out
from vacuum
cleaner.

2. Remove the filter
cartridge from cover.

4. Replace the
EXHAUST HEPA
FILTERcover by
placing bottom tabs
in slotsand rotating
in until cover snaps
into place.
3. Place new
filter cartridge
into cover
making surethat
airflow arrow on
side of cartridge
points into cover.
Place foam seal
of filter against
the vacuum
cleaner body.

CARBON FILTER REPLACEMENT
The carbon filter is located in a recess
behind the Exhaust HEPA Filter. The
carbon filter will lose its odor-absorbing
capability over time. It should be
repUacedevery three to six months for
maximum effectiveness.
NOTE: Use replacement carbon filter
KC38KDWAZ000. See part number
detail on PARTSAND FEATURES(page 6).
1. Remove
EXHAUST HEPA
