No I don't thinks so. It will play movies off of a usb memory stick just fine though. So you plug a memory stick in and watch a movie anywhere just on the internal battery if the power ever goes out. If the power ever goes out you are watching a movie on an 80 inch screen, while your neighbors are sitting in the dark!

The file extension for a presentation format used by Microsoft PowerPoint for all text images, sound, and video presented in the PPT file is PPT. That is not supported by the USB port so you will not be able to play PowerPoint directly from a USB device
