CHOOSE THE PROPER LOCATION
•Storeandinstallthedryerwhereitwillnotbe
exposed to temperatures below freezing or
exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
•Choosealocationwithasolid,leveloor.
•Ifthedryerisbeinginstalledinagarage,
place the dryer at least 18 in. (46 cm) above
the floor.
CLEARANCES
•Mostinstallationsrequireaminimum5½in.
(14 cm) clearance behind the dryer for the
exhaust ducting.
•Allowminimumclearancesofatleast1in.
(2.5 cm) on the sides and back to minimize
vibration and noise.
•Allowingadditionalclearanceforinstallationand
servicing is recommended.
•Besuretoallowforwall,door,oroormoldings
that may increase the required clearances.
•Allowatleast24in.(61cm)infrontofthedryer
to open the door.
