detergents – liquid or powder.
Use manufacturer’s
recommended amount
of detergent.
Add or remove cycle options
If using Extra Rinse or EcoBOOST option,
remember to select “On” for option.
NOTE:
Not all options/settings are available on all

Add Detergent
Your washer features advanced load-sensing
technology for improved efciency.
Load garments in loose heaps evenly around
the basket wall.
NOTE: Not all features and options are on all
models. Appearance may vary.

Load the Washer
WARNING
Fire Hazard
Never place items in the washer that
are dampened with gasoline or other
ammable uids.
No washer can completely remove oil.
Do not dry anything that has ever had any
type of oil on it (including cooking oils).
Doing so can result in death, explosion,
or re.
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Do not remove ground prong.
Do not use an adapter.
Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to follow these instructions can
result in death, re, or electrical shock.

Remember to select “Yes”

Turn the knob to select the desired cycle.

Cycle Opons
Select the desired Temperature by turning knob to
the required setting.

Select Temperature
Press Start
Press START/Pause/Unlock to begin
wash cycle.
Once you start the cycle, you will hear the lid
lock, and the washer will begin the sensing
process to determine the correct water level for
the load. Two or three minutes of sensing spins
occur rst before water is
added to the washer.
NOTE: As water enters,
garments settle. It is
normal for some of the
load to be above
water line.

Status Lights
The Status Lights show the progress of a cycle.
At each stage of the process, you may notice
sounds or pauses that are different from
traditional washers, including 3 lid lock sounds,
sensing spin hum, and wash movement.
You will nd a step-by-step description in the
“Cycle Status Lights” section of your Use &
Care Guide.
