As a result of new energy regulations, Samsung has changed
the energy label (or energy consumption label) on washing
machines, washer-dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and
monitors.
Energy labels were first introduced 20 years ago to help
consumers shop more efficiently. The products were initially
classified with a label from A to G, which was then further
developed to A +, A ++ and A +++ for particularly efficient
products.
Since March 2021, the rating has been reset to the original scale
from A to G, with A (green) being the most efficient and G (red)
the least efficient.

These changes were made to make the energy label easier to
read.
The changes have brought about stricter requirements for the
various energy classes and other calculation methods. As a
result, products from high classes such as A +++, A ++ etc. have
switched to the old label in lower classes. Whether a product
changes energy class depends on several factors such as the
product type and its properties.
Due to the change in the class boundaries and the calculation
methods, no direct comparisons can be made between the old
and the new labels. The new labels can only be compared with
other new labels for the same product category. These provide
information on the energy consumption during the usage phase
so that the consumer can make a selection at the point of sale.

With a dishwasher you always have clean dishes and cutlery

energy labels use the ratings A to G instead.

The water consumption is now calculated per wash, which also
gives a more accurate idea of ​​how efficient the washing
machine is.
The new energy labels also contain information on how loud the
operating noise of washing machines or dryers is. This rating is
graded from A to D.
