GE - General Electric GNE26GMDDES Questions and Answers

#1 Can you tell me where I can locate the drain hole in this model ? I have water under the veggie basket and I’ve opened the freezer but I cannot find the drain hole ..thanks

We're so sorry you're seeing water pool under the vegetable bin. We're happy to offer some guidance here.

If you have a clogged drain tube, you might see ice and/or water inside on the freezer floor or on the floor in front of the freezer. You may also see water under the full width drawer in the fresh food section. These models require some disassembly to access the defrost drain tube, so we recommend that you contact service.

You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at the web address below:

#2 Fridge has been moved to new location in redone kitchen. New floor and now doors are not level how do fix that

If the doors are uneven on a French-Door model, use the bottom fresh food hinges to align, following the below instructions:

1. Locate the adjusting screws found on the underside of the fresh food doors of the refrigerator. Refer to the owners manual/installation instructions for exact location. Download a copy of the Owner's Manual and/or Installation Instructions: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60683-3.pdf
2. Using a 1/4” or 4 mm wrench, turn the door adjusting screw to the right to raise the door, to the left to lower it. (A nylon plug, imbedded in the threads of the pin, prevents the pin from turning unless a wrench is used.)
3. After one or two turns of the wrench, open and close the refrigerator door and check the alignment at the top of the doors.
4. If necessary, please repeat the above steps until the doors are aligned.
