Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
Cooktop does not work after
pressing the I/O (on/off)
button.
Cooktop is not plugged in. Make sure cooktop is plugged
in, if not plug into wall outlet.
I/O (on/off) button was not
held long enough.
Press and hold I/O (on/off)
button until display changes to 0
Cooktop keeps beeping and
power level keeps blinking on
LED display after placing pot
on cooking area/zone.
The cookware is not
induction ready.
Check that the cookware you
want to use is induction ready
by placing a magnet on its
bottom. If the magnet does
not stick, the cookware will
not work. Try a different pot.
Cookware is too big or too
small.
Verify that bottom of cookware
does not measure less than 5.5
inches and no more than 7
inches in diameter.
The bottom of the cookware
is not flat.
All cookware used on the
Portable Induction Cooker must
have a completely flat bottom.
I can still hear the fan
running, after turning the
unit off.
Even after turning off the unit,
the internal fan keeps running
for a few seconds to finish
cooling down the interior of
the Induction Cooker.
This is normal. The fan will
turn off by itself after the
cooling process is complete.
There are scratches on the
cooktop surface.
Cookware used has rough
bottoms that can damage
the cooktop surface.
Use cookware with smooth,
flat bottoms.
TroubleshootingCare & Cleaning
1. Make sure your Portable Induction Cooker is unplugged and allowed to cool
completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe cooktop surface with a soft, damp cloth. If further cleaning is needed,
you can clean it with a mixture of water and mild detergent. Dry
thoroughly. Never immerse induction cooker, cord or plug in water or
any other liquid.
3. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the surface.
Storage
For your convenience, the power cord can be stored using the hook & loop strap
that is attached to the cord wrap.
