#3 Installed new unit. Burners ignite at different locations will not stay lit? Some fail to ignite at all have checked burner assembly and cover plate
We certainly would like to assist you with your inquiry. After viewing the manual, Please make sure your current gas type is natural gas(The Natural Gas (NG) are preset). If the gas type is LPG, you need to convert it at first. And then check with your burners position. The correct thing is place the burner onto the burner base one by one and stuck, rotate left and right to check if the burners are in place, the burner is placed correctly when it cannot be rotated. Finally placed the burner cap on the burner.
If burners do not light properly:
1. Turn burner control knob to the “OFF” position.
2. Check that the cooktops is plugged in. Check that the circuit breaker has not tripped or the household fuse has not blown.
3. Check that the gas shutoff valves are set to the “open” position.
4. Check that burner caps are properly positioned on burner bases.
5. In order to ignite a burner, push down on the knob while rotating it counterclockwise, until the knob indicator is aligned with the ignite icon.
6. Once the flame is lit, hold the knob depressed for about 3-4 seconds until the device keeps the burner automatically lit.
7. If the burner fails to ignite, wait one minute for the gas to dissipate before attempting to reignite. Adjust the flame intensity by rotating the knob counterclockwise from MAX (maximum) to MIN (minimum). To turn off the burner, rotate the knob clockwise until the indicator on the knob is aligned with OFF
