Device Interface

Use Guide

Charging the Jump Starter

  1. Use the included Micro-USB or USB-C cable to connect the jump starter to a standard USB power adapter (5V/2A or greater recommended).
  2. The battery indicator LEDs will illuminate during charging. All LEDs will be solid when fully charged.
  3. Maintenance: If the device will not be used for an extended period, recharge it fully at least once every three months to maintain battery health.

Using as a Power Bank

  1. Press the power button to turn the unit on.
  2. Connect your device (phone, tablet, etc.) to one of the USB ports using your own cable.
  3. The battery indicator will show the remaining capacity. Charging will begin automatically.

Using the 12V DC Output

  1. Plug the included cigarette lighter adapter into the DC 15V output port on the jump starter.
  2. Plug your 12V accessory (e.g., air compressor, vacuum) into the socket on the adapter.
  3. Turn on the jump starter. The accessory should now receive power.

Using the Flashlight & Compass

  • To Activate: Press the power button once to turn on steady light. Press again for strobe mode. Press a third time for SOS mode. Press a fourth time to turn off.
  • Compass: The built-in compass is located next to the flashlight lens for basic orientation.

Jump Starting a Vehicle

WARNING: Read all instructions before proceeding. Incorrect use can cause injury or damage. Ensure the jump starter and vehicle battery are 12V. Do not use to jump start 24V systems. Do not touch the metal clamps together.
  1. Prepare the Jump Starter: Ensure it is sufficiently charged (at least 20% indicated).
  2. Connect the Cables:
    • Plug the smart jumper cable connector firmly into the jump start port on the GREPRO unit.
    • Connect the RED clamp to the POSITIVE (+) terminal of the dead vehicle battery.
    • Connect the BLACK clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis (a ground point), away from the battery and fuel lines.
  3. Initiate Jump Start:
    • Ensure the cable connections are secure and correct.
    • Press the BOOST button on the smart jumper cable handle.
    • The cable's indicator should light up, confirming it is ready.
  4. Start the Vehicle: Get into the vehicle and attempt to start the engine as normal. It should start within a few seconds.
  5. Disconnect the Cables: Once the vehicle is running:
    1. Press the BOOST button again to turn off the cable.
    2. Remove the BLACK clamp from the vehicle's ground point.
    3. Remove the RED clamp from the battery's positive terminal.
    4. Unplug the cable from the GREPRO unit.
  6. Allow the vehicle to run to recharge its own battery. Recharge the GREPRO jump starter at your earliest convenience.

Troubleshooting

    • The vehicle's battery may be severely damaged or the problem may not be battery-related.
    • Wait a few minutes and try again.
  • USB devices not charging: Try a different cable. Ensure the device is compatible with the output (5V/9V).
  • Flashing battery indicator: Usually indicates a protection mode (e.g., overload, temperature). Disconnect all loads, turn off the unit, and allow it to cool down before reattempting.
